Meet Patricia, our new Process Engineer
This quarter, we're delighted to welcome Patricia to the FieldFactors team! With a strong background in process engineering and water treatment, she brings valuable expertise and a deep passion for sustainable water solutions.
We sat down with Patricia to learn more about her background, what brought her to FieldFactors, and what she's most excited about in her new role. Read the interview here!
Hi Patricia! Can you tell us a little about yourself and where you're from?
Hi, I’m Patricia. I’m originally from El Salvador, a small country in Central America. I have been living in the Netherlands for over ten years now, and I am happy to call it home.
What led you to FieldFactors?
My journey in water treatment began during my MSc studies here in the Netherlands. Since then, I have worked as a process engineer, contributing to the design and delivery of various water treatment installations. Over the years, I’ve gained experience across different sectors — from Oil & Gas to the drinking water industry — and now, I’m excited to focus on rainwater treatment for reuse.
I first heard about FieldFactors about three years ago, and I was immediately drawn to the technology — it treats rainwater in a natural and innovative way, which benefits both people and the environment. Joining a company that treats water as a precious resource felt like a perfect match with my personal values.
What will your role involve at FieldFactors?
I’m currently involved in project design work, preparing P&IDs and other key process documentation. I’m looking forward to contributing to more projects from the very start — helping shape them from concept to completion and ensuring we deliver excellent outcomes for our clients.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m really looking forward to collaborating with the team on impactful projects and helping bring them to life. Working alongside a passionate team to make a positive impact on water management is something I truly value.
