Hi! We are FieldFactors, a Delft-based start-up in water technology. With a growing team, we are committed to making our cities resistant to the changing climate. We do this through building systems for rainwater treatment, storage and re-use. We provide products and services to make cities climate-proof, to ensure that sports clubs always have sufficient water and to facilitate industries with a reliable supply for their production processes. This way our customers save millions of litres of drinking water every year.
About the position
You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of our Managed Aquifer Recharge systems, ensuring that the technical solutions meet client requirements, whilst safeguarding projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You bridge technical leadership and project delivery management, coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Within the Delivery Team, you will navigate our delivery specialists towards successful project implementation, as you:
will lead the end-to-end delivery of some our more challenging projects for industrial clients and municipalities.
You advise our clients on how to reduce their water footprint by implementing decentralised rainwater harvesting systems;
You manage the project scope, budget, planning and risks;
You perform quality assurance checks on all deliverables;
You engage effectively with the different project stakeholders.

You will improve efficiency in our standard operating procedures, together with our Delivery Circle Lead;
You will give valuable client feedback and market insight to our R&D team to improve our product portfolio;
You safeguard compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal delivery frameworks;
You support the personal development of our Delivery Team Members, by guiding them throughout the project cycle. Through coaching, as well as through co-designing and co-engineering solutions.

You support continuous improvement of our organisation, by identifying new opportunities, driving execution of our delivery projects and developing our project toolset;
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project delivery;
Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring contractual obligations are met;
Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement across projects.
What you need to be successful at
A degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or another relevant field. Or you can convince us otherwise that you have sufficient knowledge and expertise to fulfil this role;
Minimal 5 years of professional work experience in the water sector, or managing large infrastructure projects with complex stakeholder groups;
Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills;
Proficiency in Dutch and English;
